Those of us that know Brad know he takes his VMX very very seriously .. I recall him telling me recently "I'm not out there for a sunday ride" .. and he sure as hell rides like he isn't as well 

I've been looking to replace the cut down seat on my YZ400D and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with the ones purchased from "the seat factory" on ebay AND/OR the ones sold by Les at VMX Unlimited.

Neither are cheap (at $100 each just for a seat foam??) so was looking for some or any feedback before spending the money.

There was a post from Lakes MCC in the original thread saying it was officially over Nathan but I can't seem to find it to provide the link.  The thread seems to have disappeared 

That's all I have seen saying it's over but I would expect the club to be in contact with those that did enter to confirm it.

just did our state titles (tar) eastern creek,was $450 entry for 1st bike,the promoting club took a fair hit in the hip pocket,but rationale was "we" havn't had state titles for over 5 yrs,i inclined to agree with them

$450!!!!  WOW ... and the promoting club didn't cover their costs?  No surprise to be honest as I suspect at that price people stayed away in droves and only the very serious entered. 

Wow with all due respect I would never pay that much to race.

Can't help you with your bar work but just have to say what a great looking outfit this has turned out to be.  A real credit to you, well done 

Simo, the re-build of the RAT and its accompanying credit is all BUMPER. I chined in with some un-constructive commentary given my wealth of experience with MX sidecars, but it was all BUMPER assisted by McMuffin, Mario, Bryan, Cholin’s and a host of others that paid back some favours.

Okay so well done to all those people ... I reckon it's one of the best looking vmx sidecars I've ever seen (with all due respect to others).

Lol ..not me Robo .. I don't get paid enough for that  .  And I have less faith in the BOM (Bureau of Maybe-ology) than most mainly because it impacts me so much for the disaster response and recovery work I do.  I reckon the rock method as set out below is far more accurate than BOM:

Rock dry – Fair
Rock wet – Rainy
Rock swaying – Windy
Rock has shadow – Sunny
Rock no shadow – Cloudy
Rock white – Snowy
Rock bouncing – Earthquake
Rock under water – Flood
Rock flashing – Lightning
Rock missing – Tornado

Yeah how good was the weather today 

Should have had a great day racing at Coles creek today ... how much rain did they get Robo to be too much?  I only ask because I thought on Friday they had only had 2mm ... must have absolutely flogged down on Saturday.  Interested to know just how much they got.

Still .. took the Galaxie convertible for a run with the family so not a total loss
