Sup-regs next week--info.re motels etc in a day or so--camping on site. Track is at Raubers Rd Nudgee about 5 mins from Brisbane Airport. If you are checking it out on Google Earth there is a MX track,a Supermoto track under construction, and a combined speedway, longtrack & dirt-track,so aerial view can be confusing,

Sup regs in a few days, but classes as per GCRs Note there is an error in the new book showing an age group 60-69, this should read 60+.There is a 70+ class also.
Two classes of sidecars are planned.
Racing will be over 5 rounds.
Pit & scrut.open 0700 Sat, [some scrut. Frid. 1500]
Track approx.550mtrs, deco [no knobbies on rear]
Camping on clean grass area [MX track pit area],showers & toilets, no open fires[some perforated drums].No camping fee,and open from Friday 0900 to Mond.1200
Venue is at Raubers Rd, Northgate, 7.5 km from centre of Brisbane, 10 min from major shopping Malls
5min from airport.
Nearest reasonably priced motel is Formular 1 Airport Motel --more on this shortly.
We are really keen to support a Pre 60 class, and also Pre65 250,so drag them out.
General enquiries Colin Metcher 0459122090 cmetcher@bigpond.net.au--technical enquiries, eligibility, GCRs, Sup-Regs etc David Tanner  twoeleven@ozemail.com.au--Enquiries re track, local area etc Robin Rickets 0738216777

Anyone who feels they would like to sponsor a class, it is $150.00 per class which includes an ad. in the programn, heading on that class in the programn, commentator support during the race, and space for promotional material.

Not valid Firko, when your Nats entry comes in your VMX247 Comp vote will be accepted. This raises another thing for forum members to ponder upon. Will firko ride the Nats after all the practice he will get at HBBB?

In a nutshell.....Nope. I'll never say never but at the moment my war injuries prevent any serious riding. I'd just be a mobile chicane. ;D Once I've had all of my repairs done, who knows. I'm looking forward to cutting some laps at Broardford on the new bikes though and also looking forward to doing some laps on the 490 Maico and new IT250 at Slakewells at the end of the month.

Cmon Firko, a mobile chicane would save us prepping the dogleg and add to the excitement.
All rudeness aside we hope you'll come up, and do some commentry, rider interviews etc.

I'll most certainly be there Col and if my new flat tracker turns out OK and looks to be reasonably competitive after dial ins at Broadford and if my guest rider can pull off a trip to the Nats, it'll be there with me.
It'll be my peasure to do some commentary, interviews or whatever you need mate ;).

Col, without putting more on your plate, I think it may be time for a DVD to capture the whole experience inc - Interviews with past Legends and present top classic competitors, current bikes, riders and even a photo call of every bike/rider.
I know it is a big ask, something to think about.
Maybe we can do it at the titles at Nepean next year :P
