RM125 84/85 Jetting Specs

I'm at the stage of sorting the engine ancillaries for the 85 125 and i'm having problems getting carby pieces.
The Suzuki parts fiche advises of the following specs.

1984 RM125
Needle Jet (389 Series) R2
Needle 6EP05-3
Main Jet - 270
Pilot Jet - 45

1985 RM125
Needle Jet (389 Series) R0
Needle 6FP55-3
Main Jet - 280
Pilot Jet - 35

Main, pilot & needle jets i have covered but i'm struggling to find a replacement needle for the genuine part. Suzuki list 6EP05-3 & 6FP55-3 however they are no longer avaliable from Suzuki and Mikuni dont recognise the numbers in the aftersales as they are OEM specification numbers. Does anyone have a decoder chart that can match either of them back to an off the shelf Mikuni part?
I have been through the www.mikunioz.com website and there is nothing (that i can see) that provides this info.

They say that they have them but they are NLA.
I've had one on back order through Suzuki for over a month and they came back to me this week with the same message, (ie. NLA) To be honest i would prefer an of the shelf item so that tuning can be simplified so I'm hoping that someone can decipher the spec of the needle and i can match it as close as possible to an of the shelf Mikuni item.

I agree 100% Rod after the headache i had when i first tried to sort out my RM175 project with the flooding after 1/2 minute of running.
Some bright spark put a different needle in the flatslide....as in shorter by a few mm and it was drawing fuel straight out of the main jet.
Boy did i learn to pull out the carb quick smart in that tight fit i had.
It would be good to know a x-over generic needle.

Rodney brother,forgive me for stating the obvious,but you do realise that the 1985F ran a 34mm  flatslide carb std and the 1984E was a 32mm flatslide.

I was aware of the 84/85 variation but strangely the jetting is prety close to each other - Go figure!
Getting needles isn't an issue when you tell them you want a particular part number that is on their parts list. The problem that i cant solve is understanding what either the 84 or 85 carby had as standard item. I've even tried to measure the needle and run the specs against the Mikuni chart but i cant come close, i suspect because the needle is so badly worn.

P.S: A package arrived today (this morning) apparently it was as the post office for a few days. The say that they left a docket in the letter box but i never recieved it. Was only the fact that the postie knows me and bought it with todays mail. (Thanks heaps)

I can't remember what mine came off (84 or 85) that i put on my 175 and will check on the weekend.

No problems 43,i'll take another pic of it tomorrow or sat and draw the dimensions on the pic.
You might have to tweek it here and there to clear the back of the fork leg depending on casting.
I tried to make the bracket as complete as i could to keep it rigid.
Make sure you use the twin piston caliper banjo bolt as i'm sure i ran into the problem of it being a finer/coarser pitch thread (can't remember) but use the bolt that came with the caliper.

Back on the RM175 as i'm still waiting on the rod kit for the RM125T.
After riding this bike for a little while,i noticed that the front brake wasn't that powerful with the single piston caliper.
So i found a twin piston front caliper off an 93 RM250 for $30.00US delivered to see if i could adapt this to my 85 forks.
Top caliper bolt lined up but the bottom bolt was about 15mm higher than my bottom caliper mount hole.
It also sat 5mm further inboard (which was good)as i could make up a 5mm thick bracket for the new caliper to mount on and then bolt up to my forks.
All centred up on the disc and I had to turn the banjo fitting around to clear the bleeder.
An hour of my time and a spare bit of 6061 T6 ali plate for extra strength and all done and fitted...and pulls up better!
