Mark found that out 4 weeks ago at classic scramble club meeting - BSA already has to short a kick ark
with out the slipping clutch trick.
Yeah not sure what BSA were thinking with the kickstart gearing, but with clutch suitably adjusted and if you hold your mouth right mine will start pretty easily. But it seems the drama goes up exponentially with the compression ratio.
