Well as a true VMX virgin, I must say that was the most fun I have ever had! Met a great bunch of blokes (that own more bikes than me!!). Now just can't wait for the next one! Very well orgainised and the whole weekend went smooth. Bit of dust and a bit of mud to make thing interesting and great to see the old 2 dingers rapping around and that Yz250d sure was a sight to see in full flight.

Yep, was a good 'un. Smiley

My Saturday racing sucked - the 125 DNFed with a shit in the carby (I think), and the 250 DNSed with a flat tyre on the start line, but Sunday was better. Once the track turned to consistant grease, I really enjoyed it. Coulda kept racing the 125 all arvo.

Big thanks to everyone who made it happen!  Smiley

A few other high-lights/things/observations:

Fernando poisioning everyone. Again. Snowy and Dennis both seemed pretty seedy on Saturday morning, which didn't surprise me give the amount of sediment they drank...  Lips sealed

Riding Lozza's TS400 aka the supercharged school bus.

Riding Noel's CR125, and him later observing that "You didn't rev it very hard".

Getting into the Brands Race final on the 125 trail bike... More a product of good luck and over enthusiasm than anything else. Yes, I came last in the final.

Desperately trying to scrounge up a 13 or 14T Yamaha 125 front sprocket on Saturday, only to find the friendly old bloke with the Husky bits has a brand new one that he happily sold me for a whole $5. Smiley

"Let's go and hear about how Rossco won a race".

Rossco's big dopey grin on Saturday night, and even bigger dopey-er grin after winning the Ray Ryan Memorial trophy race on Sunday. Everyone I was standing with said pretty much the same thing as the race finished: "Wow, Rossco's won it! Awesome!" Then there was a brief pause and we all realised how much we were going to hear about it...  Cheesy Seriously, good work!

Rodney and Tracey - newbies with lots of grins and enthusiasm. Very nice people, and damn he can ride!

Neville's run-away win in the pre-70s on Saturday.

Putting friendly faces to names. Smiley

Not having my tent run over on Saturday night....

Fine speciman of the bloke holding up the Ray Ryan Memorial trophy, pretty sure it was Maicos one and two if memory serves me right, Cheesy cant believe that someone would try and fill in with all that mud a shiny old bultaco with a late model Suzuki, what a low life Grin top weekend organised by heaven once again at buladelah, im sure that rosco character will remind you of his spectacular feat on a regular basis given the right opportunities Tongue Smiley
