Help,, I ve just taken my 78 cr for a run this arvo , whilst washing Ive found that the frame ID plate has worked its way off the steering stem
(held in place with 2 brass  rivets). In a frantic state of mind re-traced the exact path and to no avail.Would anyone have a spare or know where I may purchase one ,,its a real b@#%^rd because with no plate it will lose its originality  :'(

The plate would have the same numbers as the frame so using a plate off another bike would not match unless you also changed the frame numbers which is a bit dodgy Smiley

sorry I don't know where but some of the guys have had replica plates - with the correct numbers - made up.  I am surprised somebody hasn't said that, and where, yet.
