Does it have an relationship to the Curtis Honda just the frames look pretty close, JBR swingarm is much cooler with a banana in it. Curtis frames I believe were a modified HL frame.

The JBR chassis looks just sooooooooo sweet, but the bodywork just screams 'Pommy Cottage Industry'. It really ruins an otherwise great looking bike... those side covers look like they are off an Italian 50cc.
Such a pity...

The same man built the HLs and the Curtis bikes ~ Brian Curtis, so no surprises that they share similiar ingredients. Brian also built rather a lot of Metisse's when he worked for the Rickmans.  Master craftsman is ever there was one

It is a 'standard' production model from Rod Spry if there ever was such a thing a 'standard' for a hand made custom build bike!

So keeping my subscription up to Classic Dirt Bike was a good move.

I have been on at Geoff for years now to build an HL frame adapted for an XR motor.... be nice to have another 4 stroke special option down under.
