OK all you Vinduro guys QVMX are hosting a Vinduro at Rocksberg in conjunction with the practice day on the 5th May 2012.
We have about a 7 klm loop to have fun on which will include some not too difficult hills, gullies and some open country in between to open the taps a bit.
Will be run under a practice licence so no prizes or places however after the initial 1 minute intervals at the start you can go back on the track at your leisure.  A headlight on a pre 1990 bike is the order of the day.
So come one, come all and have some Vinduro fun.
I will put some contact details up in the next day or two for anyone wanting more info. Grin

Hi guys.

Kim wants Karen to get the nod from MQ before we confirm the QVMX Vinduro is all go for Rocksberg.

We will update this on our website www.qvmx.com.au and on this thread, as soon as it is confirmed.

Rocksberg vinduro will be a hoot. The track out the back of Bill's has plenty of variation, all sorts of stuff, from steep up's and downs, to fast open tracks to life and death battles with the shrubbery.
Let's just hope it evenually stops raining.

Not sure if I can make it....   I'll probably arrive back from Sydney late Friday night with MAYBE enough time to prep a bike.

But then how do I explain to the missus that I'm going riding on my first day back in Brisbane after a couple of months in Sydney??

Rocksberg track is about 12 klms along Stanley river rd. near Caboolture.
We hope to open the Vinduro loop about 10am,earlier if possible.
There will be be a riders brief beforehand as soon as we are organized.
Cost as per normal day license fee $ 20 approx and $ 20 ride fee approx.
Bikes will be sent of at 1 min intervals from a parc fermme' situation.
Head light fitment preferred but not compulsory.
Good attitude and the desire for a fun ride is compulsory. Grin

As it is being run as a practice event, you don't need to be a member. Cheesy

Home Friday night heaps of time to say G'day to the wife and kids, get a good nights sleep get up nice and early maybe do some early morning stretches,if you know what I mean,  load the trusty IT and off you go all nice and relaxed and set for a great ride. Then when you return home on Saturday night, treat the wife and kids to some Macca's. How goooood is that?Huh?
