You know when you sell a bike and tell the buyer that you want first option if he ever sells it again? Well, I did that nearly 15 years ago and on Sunday came that call!  Grin
My old DR750 that bought new in 1988 is coming home again. Hopefully it works out better than when I bought my old KX back...............   Cheesy

Apart from the engine being out of it, it doesn't look a whole lot different. Plus all the cool, factory bits are still there.  Wink

What an amazing looking machine Tony.  I don't think I've ever heard or seen this one before.  Was it a standard manufacture?

The DR750 was a standard model, but I managed to get my hands on some of the factory bits that Suzuki made for the guys that ran them at Dakar.
I also fitted an XR front end, Ohlins rear and took a lot of weight off it.
Interestingly, the kit also came with blue prints so an engineer could remanufacture parts at a later stage.
I kept those............ until my shed burned down..........  :'(

Here's a stock one

and the full blown factory jobbie

Yep, I've spent more time in the saddle of this bike than any other I've owned over the years.
She came back today with the IKEA treatment......... some assembly required..........  Cheesy
