It looks like it was a nice original bike. To me it is a pity when bikes like this fall into the wrong hands. Most of his handiwork would have to be undone, obviously to the detriment of the bike as original thing. All just my opinion of course, but you only have one shot at keeping good bikes as they were from the factory. Cheers, Grahame

there's a show on 7 mate called pawn stars there was one of these little bikes on there last week.Needed a full resto the motor was so bad they had to find another the bike was very rusty and in a very sad state.Looked like brand new after resto the bloke done a very good job and said the bike would be worth around the $5000 mark apparently even in the states these are a very very rare bike.I think the bike owed them around $3600 after purchase and resto, I think they paid somewhere around $1200 to $1500 for it.cheers.

Even the chain is painted black. No doubt the bids are as bogus as the paint job. These were shit back then so apart from the Indian name on the tank and there funny obscurity if it runs it maybe worth $750 tops and then you would really need to want one. Give me a Deckson eagle over one of these anyday.

If it’s rare and sought after then the bids may be on the basis of it being just another basket case. For that price though I can't believe he has a reserve on it

This is the same team of clowns who said there was no market for a 71 Husky 400 so thet turned it into a fugly chopper/bobber. Oh Yeah....the Indian is a disgrace.

And then forgot to fill the fuel tank so old mate had to push it back to the shop .... but yeah it was fugly and a shame to turdinate a Husky like that.
