Looking for info / links for Husky engine/frame No ID's  .
Trying to help  a mate  sort his engine woes  .
He tells me bike is  a cross breed ;  '79 model  "OR 390" engine in  a  '81/ 82 frame . Huh
Like to know for certain  what I am looking at before I start.

Any info /links  from the Husky Gurus  greatly appreciated. Grin

Hi Steve,
Here is a link from Husky parts in USA. Great guy to deal with, and good source for parts. Cheers, Dewy.

the 79 390 barrels and the 80 390 barrels have different spacings for the hold down points.

A standard 79 barrel will not fit on standard 80 model crankcases  and visa versa.
