Hello all,

I have just bought a full set of nice stainless spokes and nipples from Bucchanan's. They came without the dished washers that I found on the original wheel between the nipple and the rim. Is it ok to fit the spokes without the washers or should I get back to Bucchanan's for more bits?

Thanks for your advice.

Yes, I found the same thing with my SS spokes from Buchanan's for the XL. I was going to re-use the original washers but didn't bother...all was good.

pretty rare for non genuine spoke kits to come with cupped washers,if you saved the originals & they're ok,(& fit) stick them in,like MX says, no biggie if you don't,they do let the nipple sit/grip better in their respective recesses!, Tongue
