Hmm easiest way to determine if it is pre75 eligible. Is it a one piece head like early SL125/100? if so your cruisin! or the two piece head later XL /CT125 which are not allowed in pre75  .

Hey Tim, unsure what you mean about a two piece head. She unbolts as a one piece, but is this what you mean. Will try to grab a number off it tomorrow as I don't have power inthe shed. Good buy when you consider it has new shafts, clutch, piston, rings, crank eyc . Is in standard trim but to lift the head and do the ports and put in a hot cam would make it sweet. Built it to be a good learner bike for speedway but son has gone in a different direction. Less worry about injury in elite swimming but I can guarantee its more expensive. Just to give some an idea with the Olympics son has been in the oz silver development squad for 4 years . Gold is the Olympians. His support 4 t-shorts and 4 towels. Gotta say I was predicting this years result. Not much interest inthe kids. Lookin back rather than looking forward.

CT's split head,later style than SL's single piece head,click on the motor,& look at your larger photo bucket shots Rosco,see where the extra allenheaded cap screws are set around the rockerbox,she's a splithead,

Thanks mick. Motor is stamped ct125e with 1027600 and 488 towards the front of the crankcase. I assume it's a 76 model. Ok for classic dirt track but won't comply with vmx per 75. Good little motor and lots of hard work done if looking to build a junior speedway bike. Price negotiable, want someone to get some use out of it. Didn't receive the pm. Rosco

Not knocking an obvious quality hot little engine Rosco ,just sort of making sure it would be pre75 kosher. Should have seen the CT125 bit that is a give away it is a so called two piece head with the separate rocker cover thingy. Wonder how hotted up the fella wants, I have a stamped 99cc barrel and matching big valve top end on methanol here that's at 205cc, it is a proven pain in the arse re reliability. best to find an old 3mm oversize kit ,better pipe, fit those leave rest of engine as normal and spend money on quality shocks and handling. Go out and just flog it senseless not having to worry when "not if " the little 4 stroke is going to go boom....

Not a worry Tim, no interest here so I'll advertise elsewhere. Just clearing all my stuff presently, back hasn't come good after 4 discs being fused. Better someone else gets some use . Have a 73wassel 125 and72ktm 125 which will also be up for sale.

Hi Tim and Ross, I dont want a hand grenade but something to haul my increasing weight around a motocross track. It does have to be pre 75 for the class I am building it for. You never know whats available till you ask hopeing there would be a dirt track weapon looking for a new home. Cheers Troy

I have been researching the pre 75 little 100's and have found good info at the oldrice and Xlint performance web sites. The SL100 bored to 125 a with a hot cam and higher compression piston is what I will be doing. I already have done the changes to swingarm and triple clamps and bigger wheels 21 inch front and 18 inch rear. The bike will be at the QLD titles but it still has the standard 100 piston at present. The one peice heads are unable to have bigger valves so I have just match ported the exhaust and inlet manifolds. Still working out the best exhaust, over or under the engine. I have removed the fly wheel to use a loss system run by a battery drill battery. The carbi is 24mm but will need to be bigger possibly after the cc increase and then I need to use methanol due to compression.
