why protect them iain r they going to give u a refund :'( keep us informed got a wheel like that recently from the same state and was only pictured on one side like yours i wonder why  ::)

I will be asking for a refund . I wont say their name untill I have spoken to them but If I get no joy from them they will wish they had never heard of me , I will post up their name on all the vintage mx sites I can find . also I will send a hard copy to all the VMX clubs in Aust telling them to not use these people . The vintage motor cycle community is not large in Aust and this company advertises its self as Vintage . Iain

Yes it was an import but the company imported it for them selfs , I bought it as a wreck once it was already at  the Gold Coast . Iain

Iain i know you want to give the company a chance to put things right but i think by naming the state and now the district you are doing any other vintage outfits in that area an injustice .
You probably either need to Name the outfit or alter your post to remove the location .

If i had a vintage Buisness in that area and was not the one that had done wrong by you i would be pissed that others may speculate that it could be my buisness;

There cant be many vintage importers in that area so its a bit rough on the innocent ones .

 I know how much you were wanting a DT2MX so you must be fuming Iain. The frame damage can be fixed but that's not the point, You were decieved and that's just not acceptable in our small community. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

Hopefully they do the right thing by you Iain,  i have a mate here who has a DT2 MX (incomplete ) that i think he wants to move on .

Looking at their website they are not cheap and to decieve you like that sucks, as Mark says its a small community  ;)
