Is anyone getting this error when they login, or make a post?

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ozvmx.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Yep, but I only get it when I log in at home - not on the work computer.
For that reason I thought the glitch was just my home computer.

I find I have to login a second time - always works the second time.

yep yesterday i started getting that when i tried to log in several times but if i clicked back and tryed again it worked.

also i have had problems with posting

it sometimes will not fetch the preview. it will say 'fetching preview' and then the error note will come up

also had problems with some posts. im not sure what it is and if its to do with length of posts, specific formating or if the text is cut an pasted from somewhere else. I tryed the exact same thing i was doing on other SMF's and it was fine and i had no problems so i think its just related to this forum.

I had this problem every time I tried to login, just hit the back button and re-typed my details and no problems.... until...

now I am getting an "invalid username or password" error  Huh

It just took three attempts to get into the forum and not until I stopped using the login in the top left of the main page and typed into the input boxes in the default username/password error page.

OK, does look like there's some problems. I'll log a report with my server host and see if they can fix it.

I've had that happening for a couple of weeks, but I found that cursing and pressing on anyway had cured it by the time you click onto the next topic. Very strange.... Shocked

A bit of an update... for me this is getting worse.
I can't log on at all with the work computer and the home one is having great difficulty:

I tap in User name and password.
The 'internal server problem' message appears so I go back and try again.
A red sentence then appears stating my password is incorrect.
I tap in the same old password and the 'internal server' message re-appears.

At work this continues until I give up.
At home this is my third tapping in of the password but I've managed to log on.

Any news Graeme? Is this the same for anyone else?

Sounds strange to me. I did report it but no word back as yet. I'll follow up with them. It happens for me every time I login but I don't try to logon again because although it's shown the error, it has logged me on. So what I do is just go to the forum home page again (it's in my favourites) and that works just fine.

But we shouldn't be getting that error so I'll need to track it down...

Life is but a DREAM on OZVMX ,,,since I now go through FIREFOX.....
Your internet service provider has some systems that will block Graeme M USA set up....
Trust me- Grin  it can go back and thou for days/months with your ISP ....
Just change to Firefox setup...it doesn't cost
I too have lived at the local Library  :'(

I haven't had any advice back from my server admin so I sent a reminder tonight. I have done some testing and it occurs any time I clear cookies and then try to login. Put another way, if I login and out, I can log back in just fine as long as I don't clear my browsing history/cache/cookies. It isn't a big problem as although it shows an error, you are logged in and all you need to do is go to the forum and it's fine. I have the forum set as my home page so as soon as I get the error I just click the Home button and I'm away.

It still takes me two attempts to log-in on the home computer, but the work computer is a different matter entirely.
I can't log-in unless I first open a page on a thread.

Ozvmx is my home page and that appears with no worries.
I click on the forum tab and then onto any of the threads.
Once inside a thread I click on the log-in tab. That works... so weird!
But not a hope of logging in without first opening a thread.
